Discovering Safe Spaces
My Journey and the Heart of Safe Spaces Therapy Online
Welcome to Safe Spaces Therapy Online. This page is here to help you understand who I am, why I created Safe Spaces Therapy, and how my journey and experiences shape the space I offer.
You can read through everything below, or if you’d prefer, you can jump straight to a section that feels most relevant to you:
Why ‘Safe Spaces Therapy Online’?
You're looking for a place where you can truly be yourself — a space free from judgment, where trust, safety, and growth thrive.
That’s why I created Safe Spaces Therapy Online. It’s more than a practice; it’s a promise to provide a compassionate, inclusive environment for exploration and clarity. Therapy here should feel human, not clinical.
A Journey to Safe Spaces
Finding Purpose
In my twenties, I was diagnosed with HIV. That diagnosis connected me more deeply to LGBTQ+ and HIV communities and showed me how transformative safe, non-judgmental spaces can be.
This journey fuels my commitment to providing spaces where you can explore your identity, your struggles, and your growth without fear of judgment.
Professional Growth
I formalised my passion through professional training, completing qualifications via the CPCAB route and gaining hands-on NHS placement experience. My approach blends person-centred and solution-focused techniques, with trauma-informed practices that ensure our work is grounded, compassionate, and adaptive to your needs.
Training is important. But tailoring therapy to you is what matters.
Ethical Standards & Memberships
I’m a proud member of:
National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS)
Association for Counselling and Therapy Online (ACTO)
These memberships ensure I adhere to high ethical standards, offering a confidential, safe environment where you’re respected.
Focus Areas
My practice is designed for:
LGBTQ+ individuals
Carers
Trauma survivors
Those facing suicidal thoughts
Every journey is unique. No template fits all. I’ll meet you where you are — at your pace, in your way.

Community Work & Advocacy
I’m a Meta Certified Community Manager and part of Facebook’s Power Admins Global Program. I’ve built inclusive, supportive online spaces where people connect, share, and feel seen.
This community-building work directly enhances my therapy practice, allowing me to foster belonging and understanding for clients who may feel isolated.
