Step 1: Confirming Payment

To secure your appointment, please complete payment at least 24 hours before our session. Once scheduled, I will send you a payment link via email.

  • Individual Sessions: Process payment for each session as booked.

  • Packages: If you’ve booked a package, the full amount will cover all six sessions.

Here’s a simple guide to help you feel prepared for your upcoming session. There’s no need to have everything perfect — this is just to help you feel comfortable and ready.

Step 2: Complete the Contract & Assessment

To align our expectations and goals, please complete the following forms:

  1. Therapy Contract – This outlines our mutual understanding of confidentiality, boundaries, and other important guidelines.

  2. Initial Assessment – This will guide our first conversation, giving me insight into your goals, needs, and background.

These forms will be emailed to you along with the payment link. Kindly return the completed forms at least 48 hours before your first appointment.

Step 3: Joining Your Session on Zoom

We will meet via Zoom, a secure video platform, to ensure privacy and ease of access. Here’s a quick guide to get you set up:

  • Download Zoom

    • For laptops/desktops: Visit zoom.us/download and download the “Zoom Client for Meetings.”

    • For smartphones/tablets: Search for "Zoom Cloud Meetings" in your app store.

  • Joining the Session
    You’ll receive a unique Zoom link via email. Simply click this link a few minutes before your scheduled time. You’ll enter a virtual waiting room, where I will admit you for our session.

  • Testing Audio & Video
    Take a moment to check your camera, microphone, and lighting for comfort and privacy. In the Zoom app, go to Settings > Audio/Video to test these features.

Additional Tips for a Smooth Session

  • Create Your Safe Space: Choose a quiet, private place where you feel comfortable for our sessions.

  • Tech Check: Make sure your device’s camera and microphone are working properly before our session, so we can focus on your journey without interruptions.

    Use Headphones: Using headphones can improve audio quality, reduce background noise, and help you feel more immersed and focused during our conversation.

  • Position Your Device: Set up your device at eye level and ensure your face is well-lit. This allows for clearer communication and helps us maintain a strong, face-to-face connection.

  • Have a Glass of Water Handy: Keeping water nearby can help you stay comfortable and refreshed during the session, especially if we’re diving into deep discussions.

  • Minimize Distractions: Turn off notifications and let others know you need some uninterrupted time, creating a peaceful space to fully focus on yourself.

If anything feels unclear or you’re unsure about the next step, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We can walk through it together.

Whilst if you encounter any technical difficulties:

  1. If you’re unable to join the session within 10 minutes of the start time, I will reach out to check in with you.

  2. Should we get disconnected, please rejoin using the same Zoom link. If I don’t hear from you within 5 minutes, I’ll contact you by phone or email to help resolve the issue.
